K. Tseng
C. K. Tseng was born and educated in China. During World
War II, he was involved in the airlift and transportation of war
supplies in the China-Burma Theater. Subsequently, he worked
eighteen and one half years along with General Chennault to help
build an airline in the Far East called Civil Air Transport.
After immigrating to the United States over forty years ago, he
and his lovely wife, Teresa, opened Northridge Travel Services,
in Northridge, California. They built their business into one of
the leading agencies in Metropolitan Los Angeles and San
Fernando Valley.
The Federal Government has awarded Northridge Travel Service the
contract for eight years, as the designated travel management
center in Southern California. Northridge Travel Service has
handled the Federal Aviation Administration travel as well as
many other national and local corporate entities. They are
customer friendly, and go one step above and beyond what their
clients expect, while focusing on cost cutting and travel
management.
Mr. Tseng is a man of unlimited energy. In 1985 and 1986 he was
elected as a California delegate to the White House Conference
on Small Business. Formerly Chairman of the Board of Premier
Bank, he has served as President, Northridge Chamber of
Commerce; President of Cal State Northridge University,
President Associates and has been a tourism consultant to
foreign governments.
He currently serves as a member of the following boards: Asian
Business Association; Northridge Chamber of Commerce; Northridge
Business Improvement District; Community Advisory Committee,

Fernando Valley.
He was selected to receive the California "Small Business Man of
the Year" award for several years. He is currently serving as a
member of the Advisory Council to Councilman Bernson's 12th
District, and to the Board of Asian Business Community
Development, a non-profit organization. He has received honors
by various community, state, and federal services as well as
government organizations for his continuing dedication and
support for small and minority businesses.
Mr. Tseng holds a strong commitment to the long overlooked
plight of the minorities in Southern California areas. He is an
advocate for small business and he has willingly devoted his
unlimited energy and time to this cause. He eagerly awaits
opportunities to increase availability of growth capitol to
invest in small businesses. Mr. Tseng's main objective is to
